As a baby I had a stork bite birthmark between the eyes. It has mostly faded, but sometimes when I'm very cold, or really squinting my eyes the area is red again, which I think is the birth mark . Since I have the development of 11 lines, I'm considering botox in the glabella, but would it be safe with this kind of birthmark?
Hello. What's the ratio between glabella complex (GC) and frontalis? I've read that GC needs more unit of botox than Frontalis to prevent eyebrows heaviness? For example: if a man ( 35 y.o) doesn't have GC wrinkles, he gets 15 units of Botox to frontalis, so, how many units does he need to GC? Thank you
Hi doctors.I have two questions: 1. I have received Botox in the past however I feel they injector did not use enough Botox. I have also heard males require more. What is the max number of units suggested for the following areas on men: Forehead Glabella Crow's Feet Jelly Nose Tip Lift Lip Flip Masseters 2. I received Botox on Friday at 12pm. 3+ days later, on Monday at 7pm, I worked out on the treadmill for 20 minutes and went into the steamroom for several minutes. Is this safe?
Hi, i had a rhinoplasty 10 years ago. I recently had botox in my glabella, and the procerus injection was placed just under my eyebrows. I now experience that the tip of my nose has changed appearence and is drooping, is this possible? And if so, will it return to normal? Its causing me alot of anxiety, especially when i smile. thanks
I have had my first botox procedure to treat forehead lines. The consultant suggested way too many units for Glabella area, though. I understand that the areas should be treated together and I am ready to have my forehead touched up but the Glabella area is still pretty frozen. Since the area is already treated can I do the forehead again without the Glabella area or do both need to be treated together every time? Thank you!
I'm planning to get my frown lines treated. The dr who has been recommended to me by friends charges by each location and I only have money to pay for one location right now. I've heard people talk about getting their frown lines AND forehead treated. Or frown lines and outer brow treated to avoid the'spock' look. Would I be okay to have only the frown lines treated? Thanks for your advice.
My first time with Botox I had a very pushy consultant who tried to keep pushing more but I had done some research before and really didnt think that I needed much for my first time. They injected so much Tox into the Glabella area that it froze completely which was NOT the results I wanted. I only went to treat forehead lines but know both areas need to be treated together. My question is: when going for forehead touchup, does Glabella need to be treated again if it is still not moving?
My doctor recommended getting crows feet with glabella, Ive never had signs of crows feet, but smiled with my eyes narrowing, making my smile younger/genuine. I got the treatment twice. Since I couldnt smile with the side of my eyes my undereyes would overcompensate making undereyes more prominent. Its been a year. Ive tried really hard to smile with the side of my eyes, I still smile with my undereyes instead. Can botox change the face dynamics permanently because the side were to weak prior?
