Got a lip flip 5 months ago. Waited 15 minutes, didn't experience any of the informed side effects within a few days, except pain / swelling in my left leg. Within weeks I got flue-like symptoms here and there that I brushed off. Got progressively worse, weak breaths, fevers, fatigue, fog, dizziness, weak / poor coordination (extreme migraines, passed after 2-3 months). I'm still sick. It's dismissed as fatigue syndrome / mental illness. Could botox be the culprit? Even such a small amount?
Botox 7 days ago in my forehead, side of eyes, and frown lines~32 units. Noticed effects around day 3. I started feeling a pulling sensation on the top of my forehead. The pulling feeling continued to move further back on my forehead. Today at day 7 its at the mid back of my head. The sensation moved down the side of my face. Headache since day one. My brows are lower I cant hardly lift them at all. Day 3 and 4 I also had brief dizziness. I also havent felt well. Will it worsen? Advice?
I had to find a new Dr for botox so I did my research and decided on a facial plastic surgeon double board certified with great reviews from 3 different sources. I got Botox last Tuesday. He used 75 units for forehead, eyes, mouth & chin. Ive never had that amount of Botox but trusted he knew why he was doing. The next day under my right eye was bruised and swollen. Now Im fatigued & getting dizzy spells. Theres no undoing botox, this is so freaky Im worried sick.
My first day I felt a bit foggy and headachy, but fine right after. Now 5 days later, I have begun feeling nauseas, light headed, and dizzy, and I see that others have also experienced flu-like symptoms post Botox as well. How can I tell if these symptoms are related, and if they are, how long can I expect these side effects to last?
Went in for Botox for frown lines. 25 units. Couple hours later rushed to emergency Throat started to close up. Week later still have terrible side effects. Dizzy nauseous nervousness extreme fatigue What can I do and how long will it last
I got 16 units of xeomin that did not work, so I went back after 4 wks and did a redo with 20 units of Botox. I know it is flu season, and I do have a cough with very little congestion, but my additional issue is with dizziness which I have seen is a side effect of both products. Am I crazy? Is all this dizziness from the flu or the injections? I have seen my Dr. and he only found an elevated white blood count. If this is due to the toxins, how long do you think it will last?
I had 2 small drops of Botox injected just below my nose to lift the tip today. Within a minute or two of that injection I felt fuzzy or lightheaded. My practitioner didn't seemed surprised. It seemed like it was a common and brief side effect. I realize it's FDA approved safe but I've had juviderm in my lips and never experienced that. How does Botox effect the brain? Has anyone heard of any long term studies of how Botox affects the brain or know why I had that side effect?
Rec'd botox on my forehead (20 units) & had minimal side effects after treatment (slight headache) which lasted a day. However, within a few days of receiving the botox I started getting dizzy every time I stood up from a squatting/prone position. Went to my PCP- blood pressure/bloodwork are normal. no change in medication, diet, etc. I have an appt w/ a cardiologist, but is it possible this is a side effect of the botox? I have never had this problem prior to the botox administration.
