Hello in the past I have had brow botox. I noticed one brow area bruised where as the other brow did not. Does this mean that more botox was injected into the area that bruised more or is it just due to the way the needle was inserted? Second part, if one brow raises higher then the other how soon can you go back to get more botox to even it out?
I had to find a new Dr for botox so I did my research and decided on a facial plastic surgeon double board certified with great reviews from 3 different sources. I got Botox last Tuesday. He used 75 units for forehead, eyes, mouth & chin. Ive never had that amount of Botox but trusted he knew why he was doing. The next day under my right eye was bruised and swollen. Now Im fatigued & getting dizzy spells. Theres no undoing botox, this is so freaky Im worried sick.
This is my 3rd time having Botox and the first time Ive experienced these results. Its day 5 and Im nicely frozen everywhere except for my right outer eyebrow. Looks very strange when I frown as only the one eyebrow will move. I totally understand the need to wait two weeks (and I will) but I am certain this will not freeze as it hasnt at all (not even a little) yet. Also... had a bruise under my eyebrows on this side post injection which has never happened before.
I got Botox done about 4 hours by a doctor on my forehead , immediately after injecting there was a limp and she pressed really hard on it sigh her finger, she thought that would prevent bruising. The lump is slightly there, 30 minutes after it started to bruise and the bruise is now traveling down to my eye brow in a straight line. Is the Botox spreading from pressing so hes on it after or was it injected into a vein? Im concerned.
I've been getting Botox for years, always from a Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon.. I've never had bruising very straightforward procedures. This past week I had injections in crows feet, and the physician said I'm sorry your going to bruise.. immediately there was a bruise which healed by the next day only to present a red mark ( bruise?) 1/2 inch away from injection site corner of the outer eye.. that seem to resolve than days later I have another red mark. 5 days out? What's going on? Help!
I am interested in getting jaw botox to slim out my lower face. I have well defined cheekbones, but they do not show to my liking because my massatter muscle area is too full. What is the average price range for jaw botox? How long does it take for the botox to take affect/ how long does it last? Will there be any bruising or swelling after?
Neurologistics used it to help me not squint so hard with my eyes. This would be about the 10th time ive received botox. However the 1st time I've ever been injected in the anterior belly throat area to try to suppress clicking noises & making my throat bullfrog out. I immediately got a bruise but now it looks like my throat is puffing even more like a bullfrog. It did nothing for the clicking. Are my muscles going to stay bulging or is this temporary. Help! I feel insecure
Just curious if this will make the under chin area hang lower, or does it make it tighter, lifted like your pulling your tongue up to cause a flat appearance. I just had it done 5 days ago & it bruised at the crease of neck/chin & it looks more puffy than it used to. But it al.ost feels like the muscles are tight but protruding if that makes any sense.
I have had botox in my forehead and crows feet on 3 occasions now. On the last occasion, I received a large bruise next to my left eye that is still healing after 2 weeks. My doctor did all the right things, but I am wondering why this bruise is taking so long to heal. I am using Hirudoid ointment to speed up the healing process, but it has made me scared of future procedures.
