Got a lip flip 5 months ago. Waited 15 minutes, didn't experience any of the informed side effects within a few days, except pain / swelling in my left leg. Within weeks I got flue-like symptoms here and there that I brushed off. Got progressively worse, weak breaths, fevers, fatigue, fog, dizziness, weak / poor coordination (extreme migraines, passed after 2-3 months). I'm still sick. It's dismissed as fatigue syndrome / mental illness. Could botox be the culprit? Even such a small amount?
Two years ago I had botox in my forehead for probably about the 5th time in my life. About 2 weeks after I had breathing difficulties, weak neck muscles, heart palpitations, difficulty swallowing and muscle weakness all over. I read on the 'black box' warning these are all possible side effects. Could it have been the botox? Should I never get it again? I really want to get it again, but now I am scared.
Six years ago I received a punch to the face. I was told I had a Orbital floor blowout fracture. Since then, I have not had any problems except for a swelling around the cheek and gum which I manage to pop' or move upwards the other day. All nerve pain has gone. I have had no vision issues or pain. Should I be concerned that Botox for crow's feet could seep into my sinuses and cause breathing muscle paralysis? Would this stop me breathing when asleep? Thank you
Hi, I have Botox (Dysport) injected in to main hairline (all around) over two weeks ago and since then have experienced difficulty breathing whilst running and swelling feeling in my neck. I went to A and E today and they took bloods and said it would go on it's own. However I am not happy with this as I am very sporty and want to exercise; would using an Epipen take me back to Normal since the hospital didn't administer anything and I am unprepared to wait? Thanks
Day 41 since I was injected with botox and diagnosed with botulism! My heart keeps flipping into irregular rhythms. Makes my chest hurt so badly and my breathing then becomes difficult, then I need oxygen. I'm uncoordinated, my hands tremor and I drop things. I have random muscle spasms, twitches and shooting pains and have developed a neck tic. Why is this even allowed to be used for cosmetic reasons and why wasn't I warned about anything?! These symptoms are NOT on my consent! Be real doctors!
I regularly take aderall 20 mg for almost a year and I took aleve right before getting dysport Botox , I had difficult breathing after an hour of both injection . So I am confused if aleve or my aderall interact with the Botox ?
I have taken botox(Allergan) 40 unit. 6 hours later I have uncomforted breathing while I slept . But I thought it only side effect. 0n 14 february 2015 I have received botox again. But only 5 minutes I taken botox 12 unit. I have flushes , uncomforted breathing and palpitation. Dr. have taken Dexamethasone intra vein stat dose . I still have uncomforted breathing last night but not too much. So I thought I am allergy for botox !
I have been getting botox injections for neckbanding for 3 years with no problems. Lately, I have been experiencing sleep apnea symptoms when I lay flat (I have never snored)but when I add 3 pillows I sleep okay. These symptoms seem to subside about 3 months after last botox treatment for neck. Do you think there is any connection? If so, would Xeomin be a better alternative to botox? I understand it has fewer side effects. BTW, Botox has always done a nice job for me hiding neckbands.
