The bad news is that the amount of cellulite we have is caused by our genetic makeup. The good news is that you might be able to get rid of some of your cellulite by incorporating these healthy habits into your lifestyle.
1. Give up the Smoking and Caffeine
There is some evidence that suggests reducing caffeine consumption may help reduce the appearance of that cellulite you're carrying around on your backside. The same thing with smoking, which interferes with oxygen supply and blood circulation-among other things. However, the evidence is pretty scanty right now and further studies are definitely needed.
2. Drink Plenty of Water
Water, water, water. Your body just can't get enough of it. Drinking plenty of water ensures that the toxins are flushed out of your body on a regular basis. When your body is healthy it works more efficiently and burns more fat including cellulite.
3. Watch your Diet
Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and stay away from the processed foods. The healthier your body, the more efficient it is. Healthy eating makes it easier to keep your weight in check and your body fat down. Taking this a step further, less body fat equates to less cellulite.
4. Exercise
Exercising every day or at least 3 to 5 times a week helps you build muscle and fight fat. Soon, everyone will be admiring your muscles not your cellulite
5. Cellulite Creams
Hey, you never know, they just might work for you even if it's only a temporary quick fix. It can't hurt to try, can it?

I agree it can't hurt to try a cellulite cream but it does cost a bunch to keep going through them. I got one from bliss spa and I really haven't seen any changes. Another one I'm embarassed to say I got after watching an informercial. Any suggestions on what works?

Some cellulite creams may work temporarily to improve the appearance of cellulite. In my experience, the only way to actually reduce the amount of cellulite is through hard work, i.e.exercise and diet. Good luck!
Fresh grapefruit and fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice will do wonders to melt cellulite away! Don't get the canned stuff or the pasturized juice they sell in stores. If you don't have a juicer, just eat the grapefruits plain. Try adding a grapefruit to your daily diet or if you're familiar with fasting, try doing a grapefruit-only fast for a couple of days. And surprisingly, citrus fruit is slightly alkaline so it will actually help your acid-alkaline balance.
I read about this in Eating For Beauty by David Wolfe and I've seen it in some other raw food books as well.
Fasting with water is the only cure for cellulite. It digs deep to rid the body of all rubbish of which cellulite is. Depending on your weight fast for 10 days to see the results!!! Fasting is the answer to all your woes in life, trust me! Physical, mental and spiritual
Hi...I am thinking about water fasting....have you done a 10 day fast and seen results with cellulite? Did it slow down your metabolism?
Thanks,
