Ceramide and hyaluronic acid-infused eyeshadow from Sue Devitt
Is it an eyeshadow? Is it a skin treatment? Answer: Perhaps both.
At least, that's what Style.com is saying about Sue DeVitt Beauty Sea Spray Microquatic Hydrating Marine Mineral Eye Palette. Makeup artist Sue Devitt has been adding ingredients more typically found in skin care products into her line since the launch of her anti-aging Microquatic Skin Series in February 2005. Her Beauty Sea Spray Microaquatic Hydrating Marine Mineral Eye Palettes (in blue and green) have both ceramides and hyaluronic acid infused into the formula.
And while I'm a bit skeptical about the benefit of skin-plumping hyaluronic acid on my lids vs. other places I could use it, in terms of any improvement to be seen it really comes down how much of the ingredient is actually in the formula. As with many makeup-cum-skincare products on the market right now, there just isn't enough of any active ingredient to really make much of a difference.

This sounds like all the other makeup marketed with anti-ageing goodness. I'll buy it once I hear the news about the stampede of women clamouring to get their hands on it. So far, I have yet to hear a peep.
