Can Pregnancy mix with Pantyhose?

Italian leg wear and shape wear company, Solidea, has just released a new line of hosiery created specifically for expecting mothers. The Maman Maternity line is comprised of full-length pantyhose and anti-cellulite shaping panties, and both offer support for the lower body during pregnancy.

I have tried the Panty Maman, which is more like a girdle, with coverage similar to a pair of bike shorts. They were a bit too constricting for my comfort, but that’s part of the design, which is called the “micro-massage anti-cellulite wave knit,” that should fit “like a second skin.” The compression aspect of the panty is said to promote blood circulation, reduce water retention, reduce lower back pressure, and of course, control cellulite.
