Skinny Cow Minis Best Diet Plan Yet

Skinny Cow Minis Best Diet Plan Yet
Beauty Cred on Jul 15, 2008

I was reading the latest issue of Real Simple magazine (Aug. '08)--hey, how can I not keep up with a magazine that honors RealSelf.com as one of the 10 best doctor-recommended health sites? Seriously, I've been a subscriber since Real Simple's launch--and it's because of their well...simple...approach to problem/solution conundrums...like finding the ultimate grocery-store-bought ice pops.Skinny Cow Diet keeps you sweet tooth on track at 50 calories a pop

One of their top picks (there were four) for ice pops was Skinny Cow's Mini Fudge Bars. We've posted before about Skinny Cow--after all, one of life's biggest conundrums is how to have your cake, eat it, and not gain any weight in the process.

The beautiful thing about Skinny Cow Mini Fudge Bars is that the serving size is TWO BARS. And they top out at 100 calories combined. Which means if you really just want a little "treat" to satisfy that sweet tooth craving, you can do so with ONE BAR at just 50 calories. Not bad. And if I do the math, bCarvel Flying Saucer a Beauty Cred fave, but not for my hips!ased on a 2,000 calorie day, I could have 40 bars a day, right? (Note to those taking me literally--I don't recommend such foolhardy dining practices, nor would my doctor).

As a fan of Carvel's Flying Saucers (ranging from 230 - 350 calories each depending on whether it's vanilla, chocolate or with sprinkles)--and might I add Isaac Mizrahi sings their praises in the InStyle Aug. '08 issue as well (I'm in good company)--I'm a hard sell on Skinny Cow, but at 50 calories a pop (no pun intended), it's worth a try!

Are you on the Skinny Cow diet yet? How are you keeping trim and fit this summer as the ice cream truck cruises by? Let us know!
