Janice Dickinson swears by SensiClear for acne

Acne's a big topic on RealSelf.com's professional Q&A section. So from time to time, Beauty Cred posts about various acne lines. Let's talk about this one...

What's a supermodel (uh, that is, the self-proclaimed "first" supermodel) to do when she's no longer in front of the camera, on the runway, or tabloid fodder for her dating escapades? Well, if you're the ever-enterprising Janice Dickinson, you start your own modeling agency and a create an acne-busting skin care line to help keep your bullpen of models spot-free.

That's right. Janice Dickinson (whose list of beaus includes Slyvester Stallone, who just happened to marry another model-turned-skincare-maven, Jennifer Flavin-Stallone, who has Seriesse) started SensiClear--a 4-product regimen that now has its own cult following. It's not quite as well-known and celeb-infused as ProActiv, but the premise is similar: buy regimen, keep skin clear.

The SensiClear line's active acne-fighter is salicylic acid--ProActiv's is benzoyl peroxide. Which you use depends on which works better for you. And as you can see from the answers given by RealSelf.com professionals regarding acne treatment, if you've got serious acne, the OTC products are most likely not going to be tremendously effective--your best bet is to see a dermatologist who can prescribe both topical and perhaps oral medications to help.

The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, though, has chosen to tackle acne by making SensiClear their official acne-busting skin care regimen. The SensiClear line consists of:

1. SensiClear Purifying Cleanser

2. SensiClear Balancing Toner

3. SensiClear Blemish-Free Acne Treatment

4. SensiClear Blemish-Free Acne Spot Treatment Cream

Supermodel Janice Dickinson apparently accepts no substitutes saying that "To be a supermodel, you need great skin. All my models must use SensiClear, period." (Is that part of the contract?)

Have you tried these products from the SensiClear acne treatment line?

Yes it was worth it. It's been working for me for a few weeks and I'm telling all my friends about it. Definitely impressed by it, Janice got it right! It's definitely milder than other products and does work quickly.

I believe this product is a good one. Another technique to minimize acne breakouts is to sleep on an anti acne pillow. Normal pillows put constant pressure on the facial skin throughout the entire night. The MyFacePillow is a pillow designed specifically to lessen that pressure.
