A medical spa in Syracuse was featured for Dermosonic cellulite treatment on the morning news program called "Bridge Street."
Ashley, co-owner of Ava Belle Day Spa at the Relaxation Zone, demonstrated the Dermosonic, which is a two part treatment. The first part of the treatment uses ultrasound to warm the tissue under the skin, followed by suction, which forces the tissue to move and drain toxins through the lymphatic system.
Ashley says Dermosonic isn't a one time miracle treatment, and that the number of treatments required varies by person. She also says, "Dermosonic isn't painful, but it isn't relaxing."
Real Beauty News posted recently about the launch of Skineez at Macy's this week. I had read the post, but hadn't really delved into what Skineez is all about.
KENS Eyewitness News discovered the latest treatment for cellulite in San Antonio, a combination of increased circulation and lymphatic drainage with the end result of cellulite reduction. VelaShape, recently approved by the FDA, promises to reduce cellulite and ultimately reshape the body.
Radiance MedSpa in Alamo Heights allowed KENS to interview their patients, who revealed that VelaShape feels like "a deep tissue massage" and simply experience heat and pressure during treatment.
Macy's is bringing a new type of cellulite treatment product to its stores, part of an emerging sub-industry called "cosmetotextiles."
The Skineez website says that "each garment is pre-treated with ingredients that moisturize and smooth the skin while helping to while helping to visibly reduce the outer appearance of cellulite."
Although the patient says she runs 20-25 miles per week and weight trains 3 times a week, her cellulite just won't go away. While researching medical spas in the Chicago area, she turned to cosmetic acupuncture.
Dr. Monica Alebnia, a Chicago chiroporactor and acupuncturist, offers the acupuncture cellulite treatment along with facial cosmetic acupuncture for fine lines and wrinkles.
Dr. Alebnia says "cellulite sits where circulation is poor." Cosmetic acupuncture for cellulite helps increase circulation, boost the metabolism, and boost the digestive system so that toxins are not going to accumulate but will be eliminated from the body.
Two New York City dermatologists appeared on the Fox News to discuss VelaShape and SmoothShapes, devices which are designed to reduce the appearance of cellulite and shrink the problem areas.
Mesotherapy isn't going away any time soon. Miami mesotherapy specialist Dr. Lionel Bissoon, who also has offices in New York and Beverly Hills, is known for introducing Mesotherapy to the United States. Dr. Bissoon appeared this morning on South Florida Today to remind Miami viewers that 90% of women have cellulite, and that there are options for treating cellulite.
Dr. Bissoon says that between age 25-35 as estrogen levels drop, cellulite begins to appear. What's the cure? According to Dr. Bissoon, it's Mesotherapy, where a fat dissolving solution is injected to break down the fat, increase circulation, and repair damaged collagen. For deep dimples, subcision or scar release is used to immediately release the dimple.
So what are these “kick-ass techniques?”
First, Santa Monica dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban tells the reporter if you have a genetic predisposition toward stretch marks, and lose weight, you’ll probably get them. Her recommendation: anything that repairs collagen will help.
At D'Amore Falon & Day Spa in Lewiston, New York, women are reportedly losing inches due to a new body wrap treatment for cellulite pioneered by spa owner Margie Mokhiber.
Mokhiber believes clay and seaweed body wraps help clients with their sense of well-being and health; de-toxifying and cleansing the skin naturally and powerfully.
Ms. Mokhiber cautions that you can't just leave it up to the seaweed and clay:
Everyone likes getting quick results from a beauty product, but getting it overnight? Isn't it a bit too much to expect results that fast? Not at all if you listen to Prescriptives and Bliss.
