Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who performed a breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction on Donda West a day before she died in 2007, has been jailed in California for drunken driving.
The Solano County Court Commissioner sentenced Dr. Adams to one year in jail, less eight days he previously served.
Adams was arrested after he was sighted driving the wrong way down I-680 near Cordelia, California and had a blood alcohol level of .20 percent.
Joan Rivers' new book “Men Are Stupid . . . and They Like Big Boobs,” is a comedic yet surprisingly detailed guide to plastic surgery.
Joan says on her blog that the book "has actually turned out to be terrific because it manages to mix humor with extensive medical information on everything related to plastic surgery."
Released on December 31, 2008, the book contains many of Rivers' personal anecdotes about her experiences with surgery, and plenty of commentary on who in Hollywood has done what procedures and how often.
In the first chapter, she explains how she arrived at the plastic surgeon's office in the first place and quickly points out the importance of researching your physician:
Kathy Griffin has turned to her self-ascribed addiction to plastic surgery repeatedly for jokes. Griffin also uses her plastic surgery admissions to garner much wanted media attention. Most recently, she stated plastic surgery was not worth it.
"I've been off the junk, as I call it, for five years. I've had a face-lift, eye job and all that stuff.... It didn't help me one bit. It didn't get me happier or didn't make me look particularly younger."
Chelsea Handler took Griffin's plastic surgery bait. On Handler's show Chelsea Lately she quipped "Kathy Griffin released a statement saying she's done with plastic surgery. Well... plastic surgery has also released a statement... saying they're done with Kathy Griffin."
There's plenty of buzz about In An Instant and Heidi Klum herself has been singing her skincare line's praises. But what's so great about In An Instant products? Some RealSelf.com readers simply wonder where to buy In An Instant.
Ms. Klum revealed little in her interview with BellaSugar, saying:
"You get immediate results. My favorite product is the Instant Wrinkle Smoother. You just apply it to any lines on your face and they instantly disappear — it’s incredible."
Thanks Heidi, that was really unhelpful. The In An Instant skincare line includes the following products...

I would've provided links, of course, but there's nothing to link to.
In case you thought the "pretty people" don't suffer from the same skin maladies as you and me, yes--that's Cindy Crawford. And yes, that's her post-baby belly--see the close-up if you doubt it.

Stretch marks and baby flab happen. Especially if you're in that over 40 range. And if you've checking out the RealSelf.com Q&A section, you know that dealing with stretch marks is a hot topic--especially now that summer's here and we're all going a bit more bare.
Recently, New York dermatologist Dr. Doris Day was asked in Redbook magazine about OTC products that could help diminish stretch marks. While Dr. Day (below) shared that, unfortunately, there's no way to really make stretch marks go away completely, she did offer some suggestions for mak
ing them less noticeable.
The Orange County Register reports that Brigitte Nielsen will be going under the knife as part of a three part television series to be broadcast in Germany, and will undergo a facelift, eye lift, breast lift, fat injections, liposuction and dental work.
Nielsen is quoted as saying, “I know I am the first female celebrity in the world who has allowed herself to be filmed like that in an operating theater. I know I will be breaking a taboo. But I’m sure that it will provoke a new discussion. It’s time things change. I feel 30 and want to look that way again.”
Faye Dunaway's latest work isn't on film, it's actually on her face. She's had an eye brow lift, porcelain veneers, and the latest, as reported in the UK's Daily Mail online, lip augmentation.
While it's a little strange to see a 67-year old woman change so dramatically, the work she's had done isn't quite so off-putting as some other work in the news, for instance, Nikki Cox.
Ms. Dunaway appeared at Cannes looking phenomenal, according to photos in the UK Daily Mail:
We probably all have our own opinions of Botox, the product of choice for many women (and men!) who want a little help with the wrinkles. However, what do celebrities have to say? Here's five celebrities who've weighed in lately on the question of Botox: will they, or won't they?
The release of Barbara Walters' new memoir, Audition, has prompted a wave of personal appearances on the part of the 78-year-old star of The View, who now says she has mellowed.
One thing that has definitely mellowed is her face. Over fifty years of watching Baba Wawa, whose father was a friend of my father's, I have had her in front of me as a role model. First, my mother took me to the same dressmaker when I was a chubby child (she was, too). The clothes were supposed to mask our bodies and "flatter" us, and I can still remember my mom selecting two patterns that Mrs. Lou Walters (Barbara's mother) also chose.
Then, my father held her up to me as an example of how to succeed in a man's world.
Jocelyn Wildenstein underwent multiple cosmetic procedures because she thought her husband would stay with her if she made herself look more like the big cats he loved.
Her tortured progress over the years shows a transformation into someone who doesn't even look human. Her husband did divorce her anyway, and has just passed away.
She is stuck with this look, which is certainly not universally appealing. Let this be a lesson to all who feel insecure and are tempted to do something radical about it. Go for therapy first.
