Justin Timberlake Morphs Into The Dancing Breast Implant

Justin Timberlake dancing breast implant

For those of you who missed it this past weekend, Saturday Night Live including a pretty funny skit on the topic of plastic surgery.  Guest host Justin Timberlake, dressed as a 34DD breast implant (nothing like the one's in our breast augmentation photo gallery) and armed with a boom box, starts a sing-off with a 5 lb barbell in a sidewalk turf war over the prime space in front of a plastic surgery center.

Each song and dance by Timberlake is based on a current pop hit, and addresses a different kind of plastic surgery, always ending with the tag "Bring it on down to Plasticville!"

Right in stride with the recent popularity of the topic of male breast reduction, at the end the barbell asks the implant, "Do you ever do breast reductions on men?" The implant says, "Sure, why?" to which the barbell responds sheepishly, "Oh no reason whatsoever."

UPDATE May 14: Sorry everyone, looks like NBC pulled the video.  Boo!

Please leave comment if you know why.

Women want c-cup breasts, as suggested by a new survey of plastic surgeons who routinely conduct breast surgery.  The majority (80%) of breast implants used in cosmetic surgery are 300 to 400cc in size, or, a small to full c-cup bra.

Breast implants: many more options than just breast size

While the size of the breast implant  is of critical importance to a woman opting for breast implant surgery, there are a number of other decisions prior to surgery, such as the breast implant type or the placement of the breast implant.

Plastic surgeons responding to the survey, and reported in the March/April issue of Aesthetic Surgery Journal, reveal a number of breast implant surgery preferences by patients and doctors.

Society president Alan Gold, MD said in a press release that “for the first time in the twelve years these statistics have been collected liposuction is a runner up in popularity to breast augmentation. Italy Moves Toward Banning Breast Implants For Teens

Teenage girls in Italy may soon be prohibited from having breast implants except in special circumstances.

A representative from Italy's health ministry recently explained to reporters that the legislation is meant to protect young women who may not be physically ready to accomodate breast implants, because of the risks associated with the mammary gland being not fully developed.

Breast Implants And Boxing Don't Mix

A 25-year-old woman in England has been banned from competitive boxing because of her breast implants, according to the UK Daily Telegraph.

The Amateur Boxing Association of England (ABAE) turned down her application on the grounds that the breast augmentation she underwent in 2003 put her at greater health risk.

The chairman of the ABAE said that "international rules forbid anyone with breast implants continuing to box because of risk of damage to the breast tissue," and that "repeated punches to the breast could also lead to distortion known as capsular contracture."

If true, the surgery comes approximately two years after British plastic surgeon Patrick Malluci publicly commented that Beckham had "the worst type of breasts."

While Beckham hasn't confirmed that she has undergone any surgery, people have commented that her most recent photos show an obvious change, perhaps from smaller implants.

Dr. Alex Karidis told Heat magazine, "I think she may have opted for a smaller implant. They have more of a slope at the side and are much flatter. It's possible her implants have changed."
