I'm thinking today is Botox day. No, I'm not getting it done. I'm yakking about it. Because all the beauty companies seem to be doing so--or at least name-dropping it. And I've noticed lately as I've been cruising the grocery store aisles that a number of brands that would hardly register otherwise have their own version of Botox-in-a-box, right there on the shelf--you don't even need to go high-end anymore with lines like Euoko's Y-Series.
Remember those "I wannabe like Mike" ads, referring to Michael Jordan way-back-when? There ought to be a music video made (a' la Rocky Horror) with every topical product that wants to be like Botox. I guess there's a marketing chart out there that shows sales incrementality when a product's ad copy mentions "Botox"--which would mean people are buying it (in more ways than one).
