Pink diet patch: marketing cute to get sales
The overtly cute marketing caught my attention for weight control patch called the Pink Diet Patch. The Pink Diet Patch is marketed to younger women looking to lose weight discretely with the application of an herbal pink patch.
What's in the Pink patch? A strange brew. Fucus Vesiculosus (a seaweed), 5-HTP (a neurotransmitter), Guarana (a source of caffeine for some soft drinks), Zinc Pyruvate, Yerba Mate, Flaxseed Oil, Lecithin, L-Carnitine.
I can't say anything about the efficacy, but it's really irksome to see their promotional materials using incredibly skinny models and statements that it can work miracles far beyond dropping pounds:

I am having problems finding where and how to cancell. I tried the samples and found no difference in my hunger or mood or energy. I am very dissapointed that it didn't work. I was really hopeing it would. Please cancell. My order number is #774870. Ship date, 3-24-08.

Hey Everyone- im new to this forum stuff but i stalk them very closey ive always wanted to join and add my own expirences. im 20.5 yrs old and after my miscarraige in oct of 06 i started to keep the baby weight and add to it once i then started my desk job. before my pregnacy i was very thin and was good at keeping it that way but i find with growing age its more and more difficult, or am i just more and more lazy? i refuse to take it out on any of my other medical issues and i do try hard to get out and move more and eat less. its just more difficult when im out for work 10 hrs a day. anyways- for a last resot i did see the pink patch in a banner and it looked like a godsend. so i thought to myself this must be bull. but yet my ignorance led me to belive that this simple patch may work and i went ahead and order the one month trial. 2 weeks later i finally recieved my shipment and today is day one. immedietly i felt whatever it was... going threw my body bcuz i was lightheaded- but that subsidded rather quickley. an hour ish. all day though - with slight and i mean very slight nausea i didnt feel my regular and usually cravings from the vending machines of sugar and treats in food and drin k form. i did however force myself to have a low cal sub for lunch beacuse i kno that starving urself does no justice. and im currently now snacking... 3.5 hrs after lunch on a few pieces of fruit. i have low blood sugar as well. but still no crazy craving or anything for the sweets and anything else for that matter. i put it on b4 work today right when i recieved it at 11am this morning easter standard time. its 730p now and its making me feel confident already that i can go ahead and remove this belly! im a little under 5 ft 6inches and weigh aprox. 170-- something. :p and it doesnt help with my DD bra size. even when i was 110 lbs i still had my DD's. i alwasy said i woudlnt go over 120- then 130 and all of a sudden im in my 170s??! somethings got to give. i dont feel like i look as fat as the scale says i am though. self concious issue?? i could use a weight loss. my finance came back from iraq in in february and hes a nice guy and all- but mentioned he noticed i gained a bit of weight and is always pushing me to ecercise and get out more than i already do. and i feel i do as much as i can for a young girl working all day and getting home close to 10 at night exhausted. anyways--- i put the patch on. the pink ness and cute ness of it i will admit did catch my eye. so there adertising did well - so just leting you know. day one and i already feel it for anyone whos courious. got any questions feel free to ask - and if youd like me to post my progress for anyone whos courious, i could do that as well i suppose. - Thanks. :]

Hi, I'm fat lazy bitch, I eat cheeseburgers, donuts all day long and do no exercise, I;ve absolutely no idea why I'm fat! anyone have a clue? Anyway, I've discovered a new diet, its called the SHIT DIET. you know the saying, "you are what you eat," well its like that but in reverse, its "you eat what you are!" I do a shit into a bowl and then I eat it! It makes you vomit and you automatically lose your appetite for days. I've lost 10 lbs in 4 days! Try it girls!! IT WORKS!!

i have been using the pink patch for a week now and i love it... I started dieting about a month ago but nothing was happening. I was 140 lbs and am 5'5. With the help of the pink patch i am down to 131 and doing great.. I have already had about 3 people notice the difference.. I guess everyone is different but it def. works for me :)
