When I'm looking for skin creams, I'm usually not thinking, "hmm, wool crepe or bouclé?" or "where's theIs this where you'll find your next skin cream? Roberto Cavalli?" But then again, I am looking for something that will be protective. Clothing's protective, right? Ok, I can connect the dots, and as it turns out, it was that line of thinking that led Phytomer to study the properties of marine-based natural fibers to determine their ability to act as skin's protectors.

Phytomer, the self-proclaimed marine-based cosmetology expert, took its cue from the way clothing utilizes hi-tech fibers to insulate and protect us from extreme environmental conditions. Phytomer created SeaCell second skin from algaePhytomer SeaCell is a hydrating textile fiber created out of cellulose and algae (below). It's an invisible veil that works like a second skin to shield skin from dryness brought on by intense weather conditions. It also helps reinforce skin's natural defense barrier, allowing it to maintain its moisture balance.

The result of Phytomer's research and development of SeaCell is Phytomer Rich Thermo-Protective Cream, a moisturizing and protective face cream that helps the skin defend itself from dehydration.

Have you tried Phytomer Rich Thermo-Protective Cream with SeaCell technology? WiWi: Was it Worth it?
