Perricone Launches In-Home Light Therapy for Wrinkles
Perricone's latest wrinkle-busting product harnesses the technology of light therapy, which is believed to effectively deliver youthful radiance with less wrinkles and fine lines. Perricone Light Renewal Skin Rejuvenation Therapy, which launched July 15th, was also featured in Style.com's hot and new products in stores for the month.
Perricone Light Renewal Skin Rejuvenation Therapy is a hand-held LED-fitted device designed for in-home use, a'la light therapy gadgets from Marvel-Mini and Tanda. It smoothes away wrinkles and fine lines through the almost invisible infrared light, and signals operation through the visible red light. Perricone's light therapy gadget touts some promising results: 83% of users during 9-week and 12-week clinical trial periods mentioned an improvement in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, with smoother, smoother skin and better skin tone.
Perricone aims to achieve results that are similar or comparable to that obtained through in-office light therapy treatments, for less. And since it's handheld, you can have your age-defying light therapy whenever and wherever you want. No more calling months in advance for appointments. Of course, it will set you back $335, but that can be the cost of just one IPL treatment...
What do you think of Perricone's Light Renewal Skin Rejuvenation Therapy? Have you tried it? If so, let us know!

You can just buy a red diode lamp and fixture and do it yourself for 30 bucks. The problem is it doesn't work at all. How do I know? Cause I tried it for 3 months form my faint crows feet, enlarged pores and general diffuse redness due to capilaries - zero result. About Perricone, the guy is a money hungry quack, thank you very much. His creams do not work better than any department store brand with similar ingredients. Save your money !

If this product was just launched July 15, 2008 ... and you are replying August 7, 2008 - then you have not given it long enough to see results!! If you want your large pores minimized, try blue light for acne. Once the pores are unblocked they can 'shrink' or have the appearance of being smaller. It takes blue light a good 2-3 months to get rid of acne and 6 months to get rid of blackheads. I would imagine wrinkles would be a bit tougher. Sorry, there is no color of light will do anything for broken capillaries. You will need a doctor to fix this. Also - it isn't just about the color of light. To get intense enough light you need to buy special lamps very specific frequencies.

I just bought the Perricone Light Renewal device and have tried to start using it, but the instructions are extremely vague. For example, I was told by the salesperson that after the 4 week treatment cycle, you should take a break for up to a month, yet there is no mention of this in the scant literature that came with the device. I've heard good things about the results, but I would like more information about how to use it properly! If anyone can help I'd appreciate it!

The directions are not very exact. Do I put the light machine directly on my skin, or hold it in places for 20 minutes? Do i use the serum that came with it AFTER I use the light or before?

Yes, I just got it and I had to call as the instructions are like psychic. Gee, after all that money One would like specifics and even a few hints on where to put it. There are almost no directions. I will do a patch test but it does seem like a real time investment and I am a skin junkie. The lights are very bright!!! IT does come with eye covers but I don't know. And, you can only do one part of the fact at a time. Maybe it is worth it. ???

They say that this product just launched this July but I purchased mine in March from Sephora. I so wanted this product to work for me, considering the hefty price. I used it for 3 months and did not see any difference in my skin at all. I did get a temporary redness when I initally started. Sephora does not carry this product anymore and my unit stopped working. If it worked for you that is great but for me it was a total waste of money.
