NeoCutis Eye Cream moisture boost worth it

I've noticed that as I've gotten older the skin around my eyes seems fine during the summer months (ok, so long as I'm wearing sunglasses and not perpetually squinting) but as we forge ahead into colder months, I find myself yearning for a more effective, moisturizing eye cream. I've recently been trying out NeoCutis Lumiere Bio-Restorative Eye Cream with PSP. NeoCutis is based in San Fran, but the products are made in Switzerland and I admit, there is some cache associated with "Swiss Skin Care"...
So here's my first impression...
NeoCutis Lumiere Eye Cream is a pump formula--which I like. I'm so over those little pots of cream that make you dig for product and then--unless they come with a spatula (which you have to clean off anyway)--you wind up with cream under your nails. So the pump's a good thing. NeoCutis Lumiere Eye Cream is also a fluidy lotion--I was expecting something richer in texture, but this is not. However, don't be fooled by the texture--this is one serious moisturizer.
Once I applied NeoCutis Lumiere Eye Cream, it seemed a bit too heavy for me--but within moments it was absorbed into my skin. But here's the thing--an hour later I can still feel the moisturizing benefit. The area around my eyes is smooth, and a bit plumped (crow's feet area) and feels cared for. I attribute this to not only the hydrating ingredients--the usual suspects like caprylic/capric triglyceride--but also to the inclusion of ingredients like bisabolol, a derivative of chamomile that's known as a skin-soother. And Lumiere Eye Cream definitely feels soothing going on.
I can't quite evaluate the claims NeoCutis makes for Lumiere Eye Cream being effective for puffy eyes and dark circles, but it does contain caffeine--though the jury is out on how efficacious caffeine really is, it does provide some antioxidant benefit. But I don't have dark circles and I've been getting some sleep lately, so it's hard to tell much change there.
NeoCutis Lumiere Eye Cream is fragrance-free and doesn't have any color additives. It sells for about $75.
WiWi: Was it Worth it? I have to say that $75 is more than I'd typically pay for an eye cream. But, in this instance, the moisturization alone is enough to have me recalling the "you get what you pay for" adage. I'd use NeoCutis Lumiere Eye Cream as cooler weather (& drier skin) sets in--it's got a great feel and I like the no-mess application.
