Nancy Pelosi's Face-Lift Debate

Nancy Pelosi, 66, the first ever female Speaker of the House, has been the subject of ridicule for the past several years due to widespread speculation that she has had several bad face lifts. (Pelosi denies having had a face lift).

Most recently, on Fox News' Hannity & Colmes Republican pollster Frank Luntz, insulted Pelosi saying, "I always use the line for Nancy Pelosi, You get one shot at a facelift. If it doesn't work the first time, let it go.'” Luntz was quickly admonished by fellow commentators as having taken a “cheap shot” with his comment.

Whether Americans are behind Pelosi or not, her face lift status does not interfere with her job performance, so why bring it up? Let's talk about her mental health instead.

Pelosi didn’t rise to her historical current position by succumbing to insults. Regarding politics, she told CNN’s Eliott C. McLaughlin, "You go into the ring, you have to be ready to take your hits, and that's part of it.”

Whatever happened in the last few weeks, she looked terrific in the House of Reps picture a few days ago - better hair, better face.

the debate should be, she was asked a question and did she lie? are we expected to accept a lie. if so you are getting what you vote for. another lying politican. if she will lie about a face lift she will certainly lie to the people in office. SAME thing as bill clinton. i didn't inhale. i did not have sex with that woman. we all knew he was lying, yet we vote for politicans and then complain that they are corrupt. the corruption in politics is so purvasive that politicans are not worried about saying i had no face lift. vote lying, incumbants out of office. make a change.

Of course she had a facelift. I saw her on Larry King yesterday, August 11, 2008. Not a line, crease, nothing to indicate her true age. I don't trust her if she lied about her surgery---why not just be honest. She looks great, but a definite lift. Not one line on her forehead and eyes totally look done....period.

Why is a face lift relevant? A face lift indicates vanity and materialism, in general, and in her case, in particular, prevarication. Why is any character attribute relevant? The reason it doesn't come up with men is b/c men generally don't have face lifts. But when Bob Dole was taking Viagra, that did come up. Or if someone wears a tupee, or whatever. If anyone is sexist, it's people like you who protest whenever a woman is critiqued.

Did any of those people lie about it? If she is so vein why is she 2nd in line to become president? Be real. Get real.

I think speak Pelosi is looking a bit tight lightly in the face. It looks like it is hard for her to smile. It looks to me like the mortician has already gotten to her or she is a wax figure. I yahooed NP having a face lift out of curiosity and low and behold, it came up! My suspicions are correct!

Hasn't had a facelift my eye. If she has one more she will have to start shaving her chin.

Yes I think she has had one, and for some reason I cannot trust her, but there is something very hot about her too. I would not mind getting marrooned somewhere with her.

Nancy Pelosi did not have plastic surgery. She didn't need it. The undead spawn of the devil never age, they remain static evil entities for all eternity.
