Christina Hendricks joins the ranks as the new spokesperson for celeb-endorsed lash lengthener, Latisse. For Hendricks, who's been touted by fans and media as the "ideal woman," there may be a bigger reason to endorse the popular eyelash treatment beyond fees and payments. It's about wishes.

The Mad Men star recently hosted a launch event in NYC to chat about the Latisse Wishes Challenge. Latisse has once again partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. According to company, anyone can participate in the Lattise Wishes Challenge by donating a minimum of $20 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation through the campaign’s website.
Christina's curiousity about Latisse, comes from feeling inadequately endowed with natural eyelashes.
"I've just always had completely average eyelashes. I've never been impressed with them," she said. "I'm constantly having to wear so much make-up and I'm also having to wear false eyelashes. So, all these things take a toll on my lashes that were always sort of average, anyway. So, I was very curious about the product. After talking to my doctor, I felt really comfortable and excited about [trying] it," said the star.
She's only been using the product for 4 weeks, but says she's noticed "a tiny bit of length." She added that she is "excited to see her full results in 16 weeks."

Latisse is well-ranked on RealSelf, with an 86% Worth It Rating. Members have "loved it"... "but you have to keep using it."
By donating to the Wishes Challenge, you will receive a free certificate to take to your doctor for a trial of Latisse. Invite 2 of your friends to join the challenge through Twitter, and receive $20 off your next purchase when you redeem your certificate.

I've never been concerned enough about my lashes to bother with a prescription medication... lengthening mascara is about as far as I go.
Never heard of those tips! I'm wary of the olive oil going directly on my lashes though -- would it sting if it got in the eye?
I have stubby short lashes. If this stuff works as well as everyone says, I may have to go buy a vat of it!
If weren't for the price tag, I'd be using it already :)
I've heard great things about Latiesse. Good information!
