Cosmetic Life Changers on the Today Show

Be sure to tune into the third hour of the Today Show this week: Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb are featuring cosmetic “Life Changers.” Monday’s show spotlighted Chicago plastic surgeon Dr. Loren Schechter and a patient who had a mommy makeover (tummy tuck, liposuction and a breast lift) two weeks ago.

The patient is a mom who couldn’t get her pre-baby body back, despite being committed to her diet and exercise routine, a very common discussion in the RealSelf tummy tuck community. 

Tuesday’s show highlighted the story of two women who had sclerotherapy with Dr. Luis Navarro, at the Vein Treatment Center in New York. The women hadn’t worn short skirts in years and had tried everything from support pantyhose to acupuncture to treat their spider and varicose veins.
