An upcoming documentary asked some of the best past supermodels such as former America's Next Top Model judge, Paulina Porizkova (top right) and Mick Jagger's ex, Jerry Hall, how they felt about plastic surgery and aging. Their answers were both candid and quite comical.
"What is it about plastic surgery and facelifts...what is your sense about that whole world?" asks the HBO documentary, About Face. It looks at aging and it's effect on the multi-million dollar industry of modeling.
"Well, if you had the ceiling falling down in your living room, would you not go and have a repair?” questions 80-year-old Carmen Dell’Orifice, aka the world's oldest working model. She obviously thinks a little maintenance is OK.
"Of course it's no fun getting old and sick and dying. We all know that's coming and it's a bore," quips 55 year-old Jerry Hall (right). She has been candid in the past about on not getting work done. She is still working, by the way.
“As you grow old, you don’t count any more,” says 59-year-old Isabella Rossellini.
“For sure my social status has diminished, because I know I’m not invited to the A [list] parties anymore — my daughter is,” she adds with a laugh. Her daughter is 28.
The film will debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January. We can't wait to see what the other models had to say.
