Wrinkle creams always get some good discussion going on the RealSelf.com forum--and one cream that has a lot of fans is La Roche-Posay's Redermic. The Redermic line is actually 4 products (shown above)--2 core formulas to address either dry or normal/combo skin, a daytime formula with UV protection (Redermic XL, which contains Mexoryl XL), and a formula specifically for eyes.

The Redermic line contains the ingredient Madecassoside, which is an extract of Centella Asiatica (also known as Gotu Kola), a small herbaceous plant that's been used for centuries in ayurvedic medicine. (You'll find Gotu Kolu popping up frequently in Sundari's line as well.) Madecassoside has been said to help stimulate & support collagen production and in the Redermic line, LaRoche-Posay has combined it with vitamin C to deliver anti-oxidant benefits and hyaluronic acid--the "moisture magnet" that holds up to  1,000 times its own weight in water--to deliver moisturizing and skin plumping effects (the Daily "Fill-in" referred to in each of the Redermic products' full names).

1. La Roche-Posay Redermic (dry skin)

2. La Roche-Posay Redermic (normal/combo skin)

3. La Roche-Posay Redermic XL

4. La Roche-Posay Redermic Eyes

The LaRoche-Posay Redermic line ranges in price from about $35 to $45. If it lives up to its claims--and how a number of RealSelf.com readers feel about it--then it just might be a wrinkle cream worth trying. I'm always a bit skeptical about topicals that tout the ability to spur on collagen production--but the hyaluronic acid should provide effective moisturization--and some plumping, which will help the look of lines.

LaRoche-Posay Redermic has gotten a thumbs-up from a number of RealSelf.com readers--have you tried it yet? WiWi: Was it Worth it?

Where can you buy Redermic?

I buy it at a drug store in the section where higher end skin care items like the Vichy Brand, etc. are sold. Usually at the cosmetic counter.
