Why do people love Kim Kardashian? Because she actually "keeps it real" - the good and the bad. So it's no surprise that the reality star recently shared how she camouflages her psoriasis patches.
In a July episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim found out she had inherited psoriasis, a chronic skin disorder characterized by skin inflammation and flaking that occurs because skin cells grow or turnover too quickly. Her mom Kris had suffered the same fate.
During that episode, she lamented on how this could affect her career.
"People don't understand the pressure on me to look perfect," she said on the show. "When I gain a pound, it's in the headlines. Imagine what the tabloids would do to me if they saw all these spots?"
Well, it looks like Kim learned quite a bit from Kris. Where there's an issue, promote yourself. Kim
endorsed shared a product with her fans that has saved her from the obvious flare-ups.
"I’m using Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs spray and it is my lifesaver at the moment," she says on her official website, kimkardashian.celebuzz.
"I love this stuff," she adds. "It really covers up my psoriasis so well!"
She so eloquently shares the before and after pictures on her site to prove the product's worthiness. The aerosol make-up was originally marketed as an "alternative" to pantyhose. Now, it's the new weapon for psoriasis thanks to Kim K.
Wonder when the official ad will come out?
