Kate Somerville Kate Somerville	Deep Tissue Repair Cream with Peptide K8

Kate Somerville is definitely one of the top go-to must-do medi-spas in LA. Now, Vogue reports in their August 2008 issue that Kate is at it again. A newly-renovated floor of her posh spa--the White Room--is where clients will "get their very own team of epidermis experts, charged with customizing a 6- to 24-week program of total transformation: a potent combination of Somerville's vitamin- and enzyme-filled serums and creams, and whatever high-tech help--from LED phototherapy, ultrasound, and microcurrents to an array of lasers--the skin in question requires."

However, for those who have no time (or budget) to get their own team of skin specialists, Kate also has an at-home treatment to try: Kate Somerville Deep Tissue Repair Cream with Peptide K8. Kate is a Hollywood favorite when it comes to skin care, so it's no wonder Christine Taylor (and probably other celeb fans such as Jessica Alba and Paris Hilton) uses the anti-aging cream to keep her skin in top shape.

Have you tried Kate Somerville Deep Tissue Repair Cream with Peptide K8?

I didn't find much luck with this product, and neither did the friend I gave it to. I am in my mid thirties and noticed that my skin was getting a bit thinner with fine lines. It still looked nice but noticing such changes made me obsessed with skin care. I could not wait to try this after reading that all these celebrities supposedly love it. What a huge disappointment. I used about a half of it before I said no more. When I used it sparingly I didn't feel much moisturization and when I put a little more on, my skin felt like it was covered with petroleum. It made my skin break out in bumps as well, and I am not someone you would classify as sensitive. As far as the fine lines? As soon as you washed this "mask" off, it was as pronounced as ever. I gave it to a friend with normal skin who used it up. She didn't notice bumps but did say she didn't like the moisturization and it seemed to make her skin tone worst. Verdict? Totally not worth the price. I have a feeling these celebrities were given free goodies and it reminds me of each time I see models or actresses switching loyalty to lines as soon as their contracts run out. That's the last time I take a celebrity's word for anything as the proof is in the pudding.
