Kate Hudson is known for green living--so it was a no-brainer for Elle Magazine to put its spotlight on her beauty faves for its Green Issue (May, 2008). The fresh-faced actress with a sunny charm is a self-confessed product junkie, who described her bathroom as "basically a research lab." Some of the beauty products Kate pronounced outstanding are:

1. Ren Multi-Mineral Detoxifying Facial Mask
Kate includes REN among her favorite brands. She tells Elle that this REN facial mask "leaves your skin feeling really firm and nice."

2. Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength
Kate stresses that this face peel from Juice Beauty (another favorite brand) "is really, really, really good," and notes that "it contains enzymes, so it exfoliates."

3. Weleda Wild Rose Deodorant
When Elle asks about her 'all-time good hair day,' Kate shares that celebrity stylist David Babaii once used her Weleda deodorant to give her a memorable hair-do. You read that correctly--Weleda Wild Rose Deodorant as hair styling product. I doubt Weleda will start adding that claim on its packaging, nor would Weleda probably recommend it! But if it seemed to work wonders for Kate...could it for you? Just asking...
