London's Daily Mail asks "Which Famous Dame forgot her lines?" in an article comparing the wrinkles of Helen Mirren and Julie Andrews at Sunday evening's SAG Awards in Los Angeles.
At 71, Andrews is a decade older than Mirren, and her face looks more youthful in appearance, causing the Daily Mail to question whether or not she has had plastic surgery.
I think both actresses look fantastic, but this is indeed a very visceral and interesting comparison in the anti-aging realm.

Julie Andrews is a very beautiful woman. If people judging her plastic surgery decisions are going only by the picture they see here, then they are completely misjudging her. She has wrinkles. She has laugh lines. She shows expression. Her smile is most certainly not fake, either. Some people just age more slowly than others. Julie has been a big star for decades now, and she's taken good care of herself. Who cares if she's done a whole load of plastic surgery? She probably hasn't. She's aged naturally and gracefully, and anyone who thinks she's done differenly has another thing coming.

I've seen Julie in real life and she looks stunning and she sure does have wrinkles and laugh lines and so on. Mind you that pictures of celebrities are mostly edited so that they look younger. Save your comments for when you see either in real life, and don't judge the pictures where there's a chance where photoshop has been involved without us knowing it

Julie Andrews is a very fine Dame. She has really good genes and her few wrinkles shows it. Even if she has had a little botox I think she looks marvelous.If she has had a little bit of plastic surgery well more power to her which I doubt.

It's not true that Julie Andrews' face doesn't show expression! Just look at that picture, and her radiant smile full of happiness! I agree with those who say that she ages slowly. Her pictures from her 40s don't show wrinkles, and she certainly didn't have plastic surgery at that time. She has fewer wrinkles than anyone at her age, and so? Why people always think that at that age, everybody' face should be full of wrinkles? She has them too, just not THAT much, and that's it!
Anyway, there are lots of pictures, which show how much wrinkle she really has, and of course a picture is nothing like seeing her in real life!

Julie Andrews is beautiful, she may have wrinkels but people of her age do, i must remind the stupid Daily Mail (an embarassing and prejudice news paper) that genetics play a major part in peoples apperance and health, and let me also remind you that Julie Andrews has had Children and Helen Mirren has not, so when people say that she looks fantastic for her age it's because she has had no actual "strain" on her body.
But Julie is by far more worthy of the "dame hood" than Mirren, actresses like Julie Andrews, Judi Dench and Maggie Smith show a great talent and grace, but unfortunatly everyone is more interested in wrinkels and fashion than actual talent and ability.
I love Dame Julie Andrews.
