Skip Heidi Klum's In An Instant--it's all show and no tell
Beauty Cred on Jul 11, 2008

There's plenty of buzz about In An Instant and Heidi Klum herself has been singing her skincare line's praises. But what's so great about In An Instant products? Some RealSelf.com readers simply wonder where to buy In An Instant.

Ms. Klum revealed little in her interview with BellaSugar, saying:

"You get immediate results. My favorite product is the Instant Wrinkle Smoother. You just apply it to any lines on your face and they instantly disappear — it’s incredible."

Thanks Heidi, that was really unhelpful.  The In An Instant skincare line includes the following products...

Heidi Klum's In An Instant Line is a lot of show and no tell

  1. Gentle Foaming Cleanser
  2. Intensive Firming Serum
  3. Instant Wrinkle Smoother
  4. Intant Daily Tinted Moisturizer
  5. Instant Warming Scrub

I would've provided links, of course, but there's nothing to link to.

If you do go to Ms. Klum's In An Instant website (which, by the way, the skincare line is in partnership with Guthy-Renker who seemed to have more of their act together with Cindy Crawford's Meaningful Beauty line)--you'll find some pretty pack pricing to entice you to buy the regimen--but WHERE'S THE INFORMATION? This may go down as one of the worst launches I've seen--ever.

I don't blame Ms. Klum--she's never said she was a manufacturing, marketing, supply chain or merchandising wiz. But I'm certainly not shelling any money out for something with zero info on it.

Final note: don't think I haven't already reached out to the company. I did. But when I went to submit my query, I kept getting error messages for no reason. I guess my error was in trying period.

If you've purchased In An Instant, let everyone know what you think!

OH NO ! I only ordered mine yesterday . I was going to order Freeze 24/7 instead, but it was because Hiedi was endorsing the product, and thought there is no way she would stand behind a product that would give her a bad name. Damn . What a waste of money and stuffing around. I am probably one of there members now too that I will have to call up and cancel. How dissapionting !

I tried this product, didn't see anything, after a week of use, returned it (they have a 60 day moneyback return policy). What they don't tell you is that after they receive their product back, they will not refund for 4-6 weeks. I can dispute the charge on my credit card and may do so. I wonder how many people forget in 4-6 weeks time!!!!!

Thank you ladies for posting your experiences. I suspected there was a gimmick. This info definitely convinced me not to order it! The hassle is not worth it ;-/ for me.

I thought it smelled okay, no problem there. Customer service contacts were helpful and not pushy. Product was just okay. No, I didn't look 10 years younger. The moisturizer had a weird green hue to it, kind of strange. I broke out from the product and returned it. I hope the $137 credit shows on my credit card

I purchased this product and it made me break out like a teenager again. I am mailing it back and going back to Clinique.

I love this stuff. It works great, and I've gotten tons of compliments. My skin looks brighter, younger -- everything they promised. The instant wrinkle smoother also delivered the results they promised. I'm a huge skeptic about these things, and I've used 200 products to erase wrinkles that worked with quite similar results. I think its a bargain. I'm sorry to hear it hasn't worked for others - but it's definitely worth a shot.

Ok ladies here is my take on this product. Firstly, it really isn't a scam you just need to ask the right questions before ordering! That's really with anything that you buy over the phone. Secondly, I don't feel that all the products are necessary but everyone's skin is different. I love the foaming facial cleaner. It absolutely makes my face soft and silky and it just takes one pump. The facial heated scrub is so, so. I don't care that it heats up but the good thing is it isn't harsh on your face like some facial scrubs. I do love the intensive facial serum. I have very, and I mean very sensitive skin. This stuff is great. After washing you put it on. Feels very light and goes on very smooth. Once absorbed into the skin your face will feel silky (at least mine did). Again remember ladies every product is not for everybody. We all have different sensitivities. It's a hit-or-miss with any products that you try. The instant wrinkle remove...well that is debatable. It reminds me of the white paste glue that you used in grade school (you know that one that we all tried to eat). It has that consistency so when I put it on I only put a very small amount on my finger and smear it on my deep wrinkles. And just like glue after it dries it makes whatever you put it on smoother. So although it doesn't make your wrinkles totally disappear it does make mine a little less noticeable. Again, that's on me!!! Now the for tinted moisturizer. Yes, it is different. It is a strange color and I happen to like the smell. I have allergies to a lot of smells but this smell does not bother me at all plus the smell goes away. I love the way it covers. It blends in with your skin tone not unlike another product out there that looks and works just like it. I do like it and use it now when it's hot instead of some heavier foundation. Well that it's ladies. My opinion only. Would I recommend it...yes. Is it for everyone....no. Like it said any product is a "hit or miss" and the only way to find out if it will work for you is if you try it and in my 54 year life span I have tried a whole bunch. I like this one and I would give it 4 stars out of 5.
