Can you recall the last time you saw a hair loss treatment marketed towards women? Plenty of ladies see dramatic hair thinning and recession as they age, but mainstream beauty media never talks about it.
Ladies, if you are uncomfortable with thinning hair, know that you are not alone. And, you have options just like men do (aside from tattooing, probably). Just take a look at these women who all opted for hair transplants:

The most important thing women should know about hair transplants is that candidacy depends on what caused the hair loss -- because that is often tied to where hair is thinning.
"'Can a woman with severe hair loss get hair transplants?' If it is due to a thyroid problem, lupus, etc, the answer is no. But if it's a result from inherited hair loss the results can be excellent," says Dr. Jack Fisher. "About 15% of my patients are women who have genetic hair loss. The reason it works for these patients is they have good donor hair."
