Gwyneth Paltrow Says Plastic Surgery is Vain

Academy Award winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow admitted to the German edition of OK! that she refuses "to use silicone, Botox or other of those gimmicks out of pure vanity."

Oddly enough, she admits in the same interview that she'd consider having her post-baby breasts "corrected": "But a breast correction after breast feeding — why not? There's actually nothing else to restore the original condition, is there?"

I personally think Gwyneth is fantastic in many ways, but how can she call cosmetic surgery vain, and yet want to "correct" her post-baby boobs? Isn't that as much about aesthetics as any other cosmetic procedure?

Since her husband is British (Coldplay's Chris Martin), perhaps she should join Kate Winslet's "British Anti-Cosmetic Surgery League" formed with pals Emma Thompson and Rachel Weisz

"I will never give in,” Kate says to The Telegraph. “It goes against my morals, the way that my parents brought me up and what I consider to be natural beauty."

If the British ladies won't take her in because she wants a breast lift, maybe Gwyneth and Lady Gaga can form "Americans (Mostly) Against Altering Your Natural Appearance."

AND like a few other celebs (such as Demi, of course) she is lying so much it's ridiculous. You can't go on record saying this bs when there are past records of you with different teeth, nose, fewer wrinkles! She's been round Madonna too long, I guess

That seems a little hypocritical if you ask me... if "there's nothing else to restore the original condition" is a solid excuse for breast reconstruction, shouldn't that work as an excuse for a lot of cosmetic treatments? Our original condition is constantly changing as we age, cosmetic treatment can simply restore our favorite original condition... (i.e. the one we had prior to the wrinkles, love handles or droopy post-baby boobs).
