Green lip care

Beauty in Seattle on Feb 27, 2007

I have a fair dose of skepticism about Al Gore and Leonardi Dicaprio's declaration that the Oscars was truly a  "green" event, but I do believe we can act green in small and meaningful ways.  We can have an impact from simply changing the beauty products we buy.

The organic lip balms company Eco Lips makes this point abundantly clear.  Eco Lips reports petroleum saved by buying their  tiny sticks of petroleum-free lip products.  Very cool.

Eco Lips shares how many gallons of petroleum saved by buying their products vs. others like chapstick

Eco Lips products are "Petroleum Free, Cruelty free, Paraben Free, Gluten Free."  Wait, gluten?
