History, Twitter, and a milestone for RealSelf.com

Tom on Nov 5, 2008

The purpose of my visit to Chicago was the ASPS conference.  Just so happened that it coincided with election night and the election of the junior Senator from Illinois to the presidency of the United States.

Regardless of your political views, there was no escaping the feeling that you simply had to be at Grant's Park for the event. Bummer that my phone froze (I should set up the I-hate-T-mobile-Dash support group) and couldn't twitter.

As a side note, yesterday was also special for our team at RealSelf.com.  We hit a milestone in record daily traffic despite the fact most people were occupied with current events.  Just like Obama surrounded himself with a stellar election team, I'm truly fortunate to have a world-class team that's pouring their passions into our interesting space on the web.  Thank you RealSelfers and RealSelf community members.
