Male Breast Lifts? There's No Gender Bias in Plastic Surgery

These five procedures are generally tailored for women, so why would a man request them? Read on to find out.
1. Breast Lift
After losing roughly 80 pounds over the course of a few years beginning back in early 2007, I was left with a bit of extra skin on the chest which looks a little unnatural given the level of sagginess, particularly around the areola[...] Which type of mastopexy (breast lift) would work best for my situation?
Dr. Steven Wallach:
A small donut mastopexy may be a solution for you to raise the areola in a better place and remove some of the excess skin.
2. Permanent Makeup
5978anon in suadi:
Are there any injections that can change the color of my lips? I'm a 21 year old male. My upper lip is darker than [my lower] lip. [I was] told to do a tattoo but I don't want to look girly.
Dr. Peter Aldea:
There is no way a lip can be lightened or darkened without tattooing it. Permanently coloring lips would be extremely inadvisable in Western society for both men and women. I cannot guess how such changes would be accepted or viewed in [...] a Saudi society.
3. Brazilian Butt Lift
Is a gay guy with an hourglass figure possible? How can I best go about feminizing my male figure? I dont want a sex change, just a softer, more feminine body.
Dr. B. Pat Pazmino:
The Brazilian butt lift is a safe and effective technique that can improve the contour of your bottom and create a beautiful result. It is a combination of procedures that consists of aggressive liposuction of the abdomen, hips, waist and lower back [...] and strategic grafting to the gluteal area.
4. Breast Augmentation
How do plastic surgeons feel about doing breast implants on a MTF (male-to-female) transsexual person?
Dr. Robert Buchanan: Breast augmentation is a normal part of MTF transexual surgery. Many plastic surgeons are capable of doing the ancillary procedures like augmantation. All, however, will only do these procedures if you are enrolled in a full program where you have been under Psychologic evaluation, have lived as your new gender and been approved for reassignment or have already had it.
Can latisse grow hair on my head? I'm bald.
Dr. Joseph Eviatar:
It may be able to increase hair growth where there are normal hair follicles, but that has not been tested. Latisse only works in areas where there is already hair growth. It simply makes the hair thicker and darker.
Don't be discouraged, Allergan (the maker of Latisse) has targeted male pattern baldness as its next endeavor.
