When opting for plastic surgery, many people choose to keep it on the down-low. Do you need an excuse to use during your healing process? Here are some classics (and some creatives):

"I did too many push-ups; my chest is so sore."
"These new birth control pills are making the girls so tender, but on the plus side they've grown at least a cup size!"

"I had corrective jaw surgery for my underbite- it was causing abnormal wear on my teeth." (*cough* Bristol Palin *cough*)
"I had an allergic reaction to a bee sting on my jaw!"

"I just got back from vacation, I feel so rested... but a little puffy from all the junk food."
"I was hit by a racquet while playing racquetball!"

"I just had a rough bout with the stomach flu."
"My cousin talked me into this juice fast... pounds are dropping left and right but it makes me too tired to participate in any strenuous activities."

"I had a deviated septum repaired."
"I took a basketball to the face and broke my nose, thank goodness for reconstructive surgery!"

"I had a hernia repaired."
"I fell off my horse... everything hurts!"
Have you used or heard of any creative excuses to cover plastic surgery?

Hmmm.... pulled your triceps in some tough yoga positions and needed surgery?
I like that one -- especially since it is technically the truth.
