Everybody is Having "Work" Done
People of every ethnic group are flocking to cosmetic surgery procedures, according to a new study from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Long stereotyped as a habit of middle-aged white women, plastic sugery is increasingly used by almost everyone. Last year, over a million Hispanics had "work done," And Asian-Americans top the growth charts, up 246% from the year 2000.
Plastic surgeons have had to adapt to the fact that their "typical" patient is no longer typical. Almost as many men had procedures as Hispanics.
Different ethnic groups request different procedures, however. African-Americans favor nose-reshaping, liposuction and breast reducation; Asian-American patients request breast augmentation, nose-reshaping, and eyelid surgery; and Hispanics request nose-reshaping, liposuction, and breast augmentation.
Looks like the common thread is that we are universally dissatisfied with our breasts or our noses, no matter which group we belong to. Too big, too small -- these features can always be improved. And we always have fat somewhere it doesn't belong.

Yes, everyone is having it done including 15 and 16 year olds. It's kinda sad when it gets to that point.
