This strikes me as a very good company story, so I'm passing it along. I haven't tried the products, but I have just written for a sample of Elastinol, their flagship. The product they are launching next week at the American Beauty Show in Chicago is called Athena Lash Serum, and it is an eyelash conditioner that promotes eyelash health and makes lashes appear longer and thicker. You apply it to the base of the lashes in the evening, and it elminates the need for eyelash extensions and chemical alterations. I like the story because we all know the women of the O.C. (Orange County) are serious about their beauty.

Not long ago, at his home in Coto de Caza, Calif., Gary D. Lorge and two other executives were using their combined 40+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and bioscience industries to research and test formulas to aid in the skin’s restoration and healing following surgical procedures, such as breast augmentation and gastric bypass.

What they invented was Elastinol -- the most potent anti-aging formula available on the skincare market.

Elastinol’s proprietary blend of elastin peptides, vitamins C, E and ferulic acid was never intended for public consumption; it was meant only for the friends and family members of the creators, to promote recovery and nothing more. But, friends and family found Elastinol to be so nourishing and reparative, with results so phenomenal, that they began using it as an anti-aging formula and sneaking it to their friends and family.

Soon, Elastinol developed a hush-hush cult following that included some of the best looking women in the area; in Orange County and far beyond. Previously offered by referral only, in 2006 Elastinol’s creators decided to produce the formula and make it available to the general public.

Elastinol first became available via the Internet, specialty stores and medispas in October, 2007.

So the product was invented for  post-surgical use. These guys from Big Pharma probably know their ingredients, so I'll bet it works. And I can tell it is non-toxic from the list of ingedients. I can't wait till they send me some.

I've been using Elastinol for years and swear by it. I highly recommend it to all my friends and anyone else looking for an anti-aging cream. I just started using the company's Athena Lash Serum.

Well, I just got my Elastinol, and I have been using it for two days. I don't see anything yet, but it sure smells different from what I was using before. It smells like something that works :-)
