Daily skin cleansing using Clarisonic
If you’ve been cruising the cosmetic counters in search of the dream cream that will work best with your skin, stop now. Chances are, you’re spending a lot on impulse buys when there's something better to try: prepping your skin with a hand-held cleansing brush.
Daily Deep-Cleansing vs. Weekly Exfoliation
You know the benefits of exfoliation as a once-a-week (or at most a 2x/week) event. It not only helps slough off dead skin cells, it also helps clear the way for your skincare treatments to work most effectively. Now, imagine that benefit on a daily basis. That’s what hand-helds, like the Clarisonic Skincare Brush, can provide.
Spending Skincare Money WiselyIn this economy, you could argue that spending around $200 for a cleansing brush is absurd. There are cleansing scrubs out there for less—but, scrubs tend to be a bit more abrasive, making them best for once-a-week vs. daily exfoliation. Also, my guess is that you’ve probably already spent upwards of $200 on random skin care purchases, so…let’s get real.
Trying out Clarisonic
The Clarisonic Skincare Brush (a fave of Cameron Diaz) is a gentle brush that uses sonic technology along with the mechanical movements of the brushes to deep-clean pores, lightly exfoliate, and prep your skin for further treatment. It has a tingly feel that sort of tickles at first—but you get used to it. Clarisonic also has a built-in timer that beeps to let you know when you’ve spent enough time on each area of your face—it’ll surprise you how little time you really need on each area.
The only downside to the Clarisonic and others of its ilk (including electronic toothbrushes) is where the heck to put it. It is a bit bulky if you’re tight on bathroom counter space, and it needs an outlet for recharging. If you can manage that, Clarisonic is one to try—you just might find you’re current skincare really does work better than you think.

I love this product, but only get the best one from a medi spa, the other ones that are sold online or at Sephora/Ulta or online are not as good. Use it with a good product like Obagi.
