Clarins 3P

RealSelf gave you the heads-up that Clarins would be launching the "First Spray to Protect Skin from Electromagnetic Radiation," and now Expertise 3P has officially launched. Clarins asserts that using this spray on your skin will protect it from the electromagnetic radiation emitted by cell phones and computer screens.

Clarins Expertise 3P claims the following "beauty benefits:"

- Helps reinforce skin’s natural barrier.
- Protects against biological stress.
- Increases cellular energy.
- Forms an invisible screen, is very adherent and softens skin.

All of the above are aimed at protecting the skin from premature aging.

The actual ingredients of the spray are more interesting to me than the spray's function. They were selected to protect the skin from environmental factors that contribute to aging the skin. They are:

- Thermus Chermophilus - a marine micro-organism found in very deep waters off the Gulf of California and survives in a very hostile environment of extreme temperatures and pressure.
- Rhodiola Rosea - a perennial plant found in Arctic regions and grows in extreme conditions where temperatures can drop to – 45°C. Known as an “adaptogen”, it is able to survive due to a unique system of adaptation and has an exceptional capacity for resistance.
- Our NEW Anti-Pollution Complex has White Tea extract to protect against free radicals and urban pollution and Succory Dock-Cress to help increase cellular energy.

Here's to 21st century skin care!
