Tyra’s response to models opposed to plastic surgery? She recently told Yahoo! Singapore, "I hate when models say 'Oh, plastic surgery is just a wrong thing. What're you talking about? You won the genetic lottery…” Kudos to Banks’ stance that procedures should be an individual’s choice and not universally frowned upon by others.
Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, admits to the recent suspicions of elective surgeries (a la Facelifts and Rhinoplasty), but maintains the position that she did it for herself – not to keep Bryant around, as some have reported. If her accusers read the empowering stories of self-confidence in RealSelf forums, they would know procedures are more often done for oneself versus to please others.
The original Bachelorette, Trista Sutter – known for her numerous bikini shots – shot a candid before and after to reveal a recent lift. Sutter underwent blepharoplasty to lift her eyelids and "breast augmentation with an internal lift" to get back her pre-baby self, and says she is “happier and more confident now.”
In speculation news, Miley Cyrus in under the microscope after a recent photo surfaced with Cyrus’ pout looking plumper than usual. Cyrus released a statement, via Twitter naturally, that maintained she’s au naturel. As Huff Post UK mentions, though, there are many over the counter products like Lip Venom that could achieve the same look.
