Gosh, it's so hard to think about the emotions invovled with face transplants for so many obvious reasons. I feel happy for the recipient, grateful to the donor and so very empathetic to the donor family.
My neice was a organ donor and we cannot wait to heart her heart beat inside the little boy's heart who lives on because of her gift. Would I want to see her face? I think that would be just too painful.
