Do Your Hands Make You Look Old? 6 Amazing Hand Rejuvenation Photos

How old do your hands look? According to Good Morning America, this is a growing concern for many. After all, what good is concealing the wrinkles on your face if your hands still give away your true age?

Fortunately, making hands look younger is standard practice for many cosmetic doctors. Here are three common hand rejuvenation techniques, and some amazing before-and-after photos to show off the results:

Radiesse

Radiesse is a semi-permanent filler that is used to correct wrinkles and plump up areas of thinning skin.

Fat Transfer

Fat transfer is the process of taking fat from one area of the body and injecting it into another to boost up the volume.

Samuel Lam, MD

Fraxel Laser Treatment

Fraxel Lasers are lasers that aid in correcting aging, wrinkled, and sun-damaged skin.

Madonna is one of the most frequently mentioned celebs for having some hand work -- she's a reported fan of CACI treatments. None of these procedures come cheap, however. So we want to know: would you drop extra cash to hide the age of your hands?

I already use retin A and hydroquonone for my face and one day it dawned on me to use it on my hands as well. It really makes a difference. I also us Aquaphor on my hands during the day. Once they are wet I will apply a very small amount and work in until dry. No chapped hands in the winter anymore.

I just started using the Dermaroller on one hand only to compare. If it helps at all, I'll come back and let everyone know...provided someone reminds me ;)

The peel may help with sun spots but it doesn't replace lost collagen which makes hands look withered.

I use Obagi NuDerm for my face for about 1 1/2 years now. It has done wonders for my face, neck and chest. I have started using it about 2 months ago on my hands and lower arms, wow, it has helped alot. Less wrinkles on the hands and the sun spots have really been fading. Why did I not think of this sooner!!!

Hey Crankypants, you're not crazy...you sound very level-headed and lucky to look so young. I think people hold value in different things, food, fashion, arts, etc...

I'm 43 and have always heard that I don't look my age. People usually think I'm in my early 30s. Sometimes I wonder hey, am I nuts because I don't worry about my hands, except do they need lotion, or am I not "girly" enough because I don't care about shoes and would NEVER spend $800 on them, even if I were super rich..and I don't drop $300 every 6 weeks on my hair...and the other part of me thinks "no, those bitches are CRAZY!!!!" lol...When you're a slave to fashions, what do you get, and what are you looking for? have I missed the boat?

You sound like me, Crankypants - the most I have spent on shoes and a purse (once time each, mind you) was a pair of bad ass boots that were 150, but on sale at Bealls, and then I bought a black leather Vera Wang (sp?) purse that I still use two years later! lol I'm usually wearing PJs all day long, but if I have to go out I wear jeans and a t-shirt with slip on tennis shoes. If I have to dress up, I will pay no more than 12 bucks for a shirt...and wear it with my jeans...and bad ass boots when appropriate. lol People who are always dressed up to the T must have a lot of time on their hands - I barely have time to take a shit with seven kids and three of them being 3, 1, and 5 months!

I felt that way at 43 too....looked younger than my years, not one to worry about beauty treatments etc....Just took good care of myself, ate healthy, stayed active , slept 8 hours. All the good stuff....but guess what ? Eventually you age whether you want to or not. Your hair changes, skin thins, lose muscle tone, health challenges etc. It's the circle of life.

This is great feedback...can you forward the brand?

I did take a good long look at my hands after this post...and realized now that I have one hand that seems to have aged faster than the other. I thought maybe because it's in the sun more (possibly from driving?), but it's the other hand. Hummm. Deep thoughts. Good to know I have options.
