Ali Lohan: Plastic Surgery or Just "Growing Up"?

Ali Lohan, the sister of troubled tabloid star Lindsay Lohan, has been making headlines of her own recently due to her rapid change in appearance. While many suspect that plastic surgery is responsible for the sudden transformation, Ali’s family and representatives deny that anything other than a “normal teenage growth spurt” has occurred.
When new photos of Ali hit the web, speculation immediately spread about the drastic change. Gossip sites speculated that Ali, having recently signed with Next Model Management, may have felt the need to alter her look to thrive in a competitive industry.
The sentiments of the gossip media have been echoed by celebrity plastic surgeons. Dr. Robert Rey suspects Ali has had a nose job. “In her photos now, her nose appears narrower and the tip more defined.” Adds Dr. Gary Alter, “It’s obvious to me that her eyebrows are higher than they were before. There doesn’t appear to be much movement on her forehead, and she looks like she has had Botox.”
On the other hand, Ali’s spokesperson Steve Honig denies the rumors, insisting that Ali “has never had any type of plastic surgery in her life, nor has she ever considered it.” Honig chalks up Ali’s changes to puberty, calling her current look an “awkward stage”. That seems like an unflattering way to describe a model, but not as bad as her father, Michael Lohan, who calls Ali’s physique “scary”. For what it’s worth, the rest of Ali’s family, Lindsay and her mom, Dina Lohan, have both adamantly stated that Ali is "gorgeous" and has not had any surgery.
As the photographs indicate, Ali has lost a lot of weight lately, which may have also played a role in her facial changes. What do you think? Is Ali’s physical transformation the result of plastic surgery, rapid weight loss, or just plain aging?
