Sneak Peek: Therapy Systems Line Tox for Eyes, launching in May
I received Therapy Systems Line Tox for Eyes with a release stating it would launch in May '08 at Henri Bendel in NYC and Private Edition, The Cosmetic Market and Therapy Systems store in Nashville. While I love any excuse to visit Bendel's, I'm looking forward to trying Line Tox for Eyes right here, right now. So here's my first impression review...
Therapy Systems Line Tox for Eyes touts the ability to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, along with decreasing eye puffiness and dark circles within 15 days. I don't have 15 days right now, nor do I have dark circles, but after several sleepless nights thanks to my brood, I do have puffy eyes--and well, the fine lines come naturally.
In terms of texture, Therapy Systems Line Tox for Eyes is richer than Olay's classic pink fluid, but not as rich as classic Nivea creme in the blue tin. Line Tox for Eyes pumps out smoothly and has a skin-carey scent to it--not fruity, not floral, not woodsy or oriental. Just nice.
I can also tell there is either dimethicone or cyclomethicone in the Line Tox for Eyes formula. There's just a slickness to it--and indeed there is cyclomethicone. There's also hyaluronic acid, silk amino acids and grape seed and green tea extracts. Along with the slickness, there's a slight g
reasy feeling at first, but this goes away quickly as the formula is absorbed into my skin.
What I notice about Therapy Systems Line Tox for Eyes is that it does seem to soften the lines around the outer corners of my eyes. But I'm not so sure I'm seeing any reduction in my puffy undereyes. I'm used to gel-based eye area de-puffers that I like to keep chilled--so I'm not used to a creamy formula doing the trick. The info I have does say that puffy eyes will be reduced in 15 days--my normal de-puffing routine has more instantaneous results.
QUICK TAKE: I'm predicting Therapy Systems Line Tox for Eyes will be a hit given its claims--and the fact that its name and packaging look like they should deliver some results. I find that my finer lines are smoothed out, but not seeing an immediate reduction in eye area puffiness--but Therapy Systems doesn't promise immediate results either.
