Is there really magic in Morganna's Alchemy Morganna Magic Cream?

After a slew of skin care products that have names longer than a member of English royalty and tongue-twisted by complex chemical ingredient names, it was refreshing to see Morganna's Alchemy with  their Morganna Magic cream. It doesn't say much about what it does, but as I enjoy a bit of fantasyland now and then, heck, I'm willing to "go there" and try it. In the name of beauty, of course.

Here's my first impression of Morganna's Alchemy Morganna Magic:

Going in, it helps to know that my skin is not overly dry. I'm seeing my first fine lines and a couple of freckles. My main issue is I look un-rejuvenated. Morganna's Alchemy Morganna Magic (below, bottom) states it's for people "age 40 and over". At 42, I've hit the bar. Here's what the Morganna's Alchemy download on Morganna Magic is:

Morganna's Alchemy Morganna Magic is a fluffy but rich cream. It glides on smoothly, and definitely starts to hydrate on contact. It does contain mineral oil, which my skin can react to (i.e., break out), so I'll have to see how that goes. Morganna Magic has a light fruity scent to it that does not last once applied.

Initially, Morganna's Alchemy Morganna Magic gives my skin a true glow. I wouldn't have wanted this a few years ago, but it does make me appear more awake or refreshed.  The Morganna Magic cream, however, leaves my skin feeling a bit sticky/tacky at first. It took about a half hour for that feeling to go away. The glow subsided a bit, but the cream was finally absorbed.

I can't say that the science part of Morganna Magic is working yet--but the hydration is helping to minimize the look of my fine lines. Time will tell--I just hope I don't break out!

QUICK TAKE: Morganna's Alchemy Morganna Magic is a richer cream that touts full anti-aging benefits. It may be too rich for my just-hit-my-40's skin, and I'm concerned the mineral oil will bring on a break-out. But my skin is hydrated and it does have a bit of a glow.
