Heidi Klum, Jennifer Aniston & Naomi Campbell get great skin with Mario Badescu

While at The Makeup Show/NYC recently, I was pleasantly surprised to find NYC skin care guru Mario Badescu among the aisles. The reps there were talking all things Mario and handing out samples left & right. But the one Mario Badescu everyone always comes back to is Mario Badescu Drying Lotion.

What's turned Mario Badescu Drying Lotion into a cult-status fave? The blend of ingredients which includes...Salicylic Acid to unclog pores and promote cellular turnover; the antiseptic properties of Camphor; bacteria-fighting keratolytic (peeling agent) Colloidal Sulfur; and the soothing nature of Calamine.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion is touted in the May issues of Latina and Working Mother magazines, and a countless list of celebs endorse Mario Badescu's wonders on his site (including the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders!). Naomi Campbell (at left) even states "thank you for making my face"--quite a claim given what Naomi's accomplished with her face.

Have you tried Mario Badescu Drying Lotion? Was it worth it?

I saw Naomi on the Ugly Betty season finale last night...she looked stunning. She looks like she hasn't aged a bit since the 90s. I'd love to try Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion, but wouldn't you know it, I'm allergic to Calamine!

Mario Badescu does have some great products, but again, it all depends on your skin type. You can email them and send them a picture of your face as well and they will recommend what products they believe will best work for you and how to use them. That's what a company is all about. I have seen the drying lotion misued though. People shake the bottle then use it which is not the correct way.

I purchased Mario Badescu under the recommendation of a Nords rep. While I was skeptical to purchase it assuming it was just another useless skin care product, I decided to still try it. It was only $17 so I figured I didn't have anything to lose. I have to say this is an amazing product! I use this over my prescriptive medication from my dermotologist. In fact, I am researching more about this product because I would like a daily skin care regiment. I don't know if they offer such, but I am looking. If you are in question of whether or not to purchase this- I HIGHLY recommend it. Just remember DO NOT SHAKE IT!!
