Jennifer Aniston: breast implants and nose jobs?

Beauty Cred on 22 Oct 2006 at 10:15pm

Jennifer Aniston, after the nose job?Jennifer Aniston popped by Oprah this week to deny a slew of rumors, namely that she recently gotJennifer Aniston, before plastic surgery? breast implants and/or split from boyfriend Vince Vaughn. (By the way, denying the breakup was the first time she actually confirmed the relationship even existed. But who's counting?)

As for the breast implants, Jen told Oprah, "No boob job! You know what it's called? It's called 10 pounds...maybe a couple cheese plates too many."

But the real Jennifer Aniston plastic surgery story wasn't on Oprah - it's on the cover of Star magazine: "before" and "after" photos of Jen with the words "Secret Surgeries."

What exactly did Jen do to make the transformation from her "Ferris Bueller (Television Version)" days to "Friends"? Was the dramatic change really just losing some extra pounds and getting her eyebrows reshaped? Or, as many prominent plastic surgeons have speculated, was it really the result of having the bridge of her nose thinned, the tip of her nose restructured and a chin implant added?

From cosmetic improvements to anti-aging techniques, it's rare to find celebrities who will own up to plastic surgery. Stars want us to believe they stay beautiful through sheer determination and commitment to a diet, workout routine or beauty regimen. The trouble is, that sends a message to other women that they can do the same thing, which just isn't true.

I don't blame Jen for wanting to keep her nose to herself. But wouldn't it be nice if she used her renowned honesty and humility to share her real beauty secrets with us?

Personally I wish Jennifer Aniston would disappear. She and her publicist try to convince us she is beautiful. What a laugh. She is nothing more than a plain Jane that got lucky and had a connections in the business. She is the worst actress I have ever seen. The dude can't act.

That old skank they call Jennifer Aniston can have as much plastic surgery as she can buy and she still will not be anything then a plain Jane. She should give that money to the poor .At least there it will do some good.

Incorrect. Jennifer Aniston WAS NOT in FBDO. Jennifer Grey WAS. Jennifer Aniston played in a sitcom that was loosely based on FBDO. The show was called Parker Lewis Can't Lose, she played the annoyed sister ala Jeannie from FBDO.

It said the FBDO TV version. I didn't realize there even was one, but just googled it. There's even a YouTube video.

Celebrities are attractive because you are exposed to them, accept them in your virtual ingroup, and build an idea of attractiveness that includes them. The skill of being a celebrity is as much about knowing how to smile at the interviewer as having the right nose. The rest is done in the brains of folks like yourself, which are basically looking for role models all the time. The pictures look basically the same to me, with a few years added and a different hairstyle. If someone were going to go to the pain, trouble and expense of a nose job, the difference would be readily visible. You may overestimate the subtlety of plastic surgery. It's rather more crude than you might think. Personally she doesn't do anything for me, but she's a decent enough actor in some roles, "Friends" notwithstanding. Didn't even know there'd been a Ferris Bueller sitcom btw. Looks horrible.

Jennifer Anniston wasn't in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It was the chick from Dirty Dancing and she DID have a nose job.
