Could Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF28 be a cure-all?
Had to report on this. I was in a Harmon Drug store recently and was at the check-out when two of the girls who work there started ooooo-ing and ahhhh-ing and raving about some moisturizer. Not one to pass up a lead for a product that's worth it, I interrupted the fan-fest and asked what they were talking about: Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28. (a mouthful, no?) I asked one of them to get if for me and she did.
When I tell you these girls were raving--completely ecstatic--about Garnier Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28, I'm being serious. And here's the thing--they weren't touting it as a sunscreen, or as an anti-aging solution--heck, they couldn't have been more than 48 in combined years (do the math). They were screaming about what a great acne treatment it is! I'm only reporting what I heard...
So here's my first impression, as I just had to try it. The texture of Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28 is nice--not to heavy, not too light or watery. And there's just a hint of a clean somewhat fruity scent. It glides on smoothly, no tacky feel and absorbs nicely into my skin. As the Garnier Nutritioniste Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28 package states, it does give me "illuminated skin"--but I find almost any sunscreen I use will do that.
Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28 does contain Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, vitamin C, vitamin E and Lycopene, so there are definitely anti-aging and anti-acne benefits infused into the formula alongside the UVA/UVB protection. Anytime a product goes beyond prevention to include reparative benefits, it's already scored some good marks in my book.
QUICK TAKE: Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28 seems like something I'll use again--not only for the UVA/UVB protection, but also for the anti-aging benefits. It's a non-greasy yet illuminating formula. I can't speak to the anti-acne results, but the girls I saw at Harmon Drug seemed to endorse it!

Editor's Note: For the benefit of other readers who may wish to try the new Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28, let us know what you specifically did not like about it. Feel free to leave a review at our product profile as well--the link is at the end of the blog post above. Also, how long did you use the product for? I certainly understand not liking a product upon first trying it--but you mention you tried it for its anti-aging claims. Usually anti-aging benefits take a while to "appear"--so it would help other readers to know a bit more about your experience!

I have been using this stuff ever since I first saw its ad on TV that was almost 2 months ago and I have to admit I like it a lot. I am 29 and my skin is oily but this stuff is not too greasy. Looks a little shiny but in a good way. On the ad if you look closely there is a fine print at the bottom that says that skin discolorations and lines may reduce upto 27% in 12 weeks, so thats where I am heading by using it every morning and I can see the results. Love the fact that its anti-sun-damage and has SPF 28.

With a great expectation I purchased Garnier Age Lift Anti Wrinkle Firming Day Cream. It also says dermatologically tested. The day1- I used this cream there was no irritation or any harm Day 2- I started rashes all over my face and neck(that is where I applied). It has been 3 days now. Still I am walking around with those rashes on my face and neck. Now I am worried about those rashes. There is no clear explanation on the usage of the product.

After 3 days of using this product once a day, I woke in the am with rash on my face. Not itchy but skin is scaley, rough and mildly burns. I stopped using but still have the dry rash almost a week later.
