Caudalie Spa at the Plaza Hotel NYC...late summer '08...

Just asked Lisa at the Plaza Hotel in NYC if the Caudalie Spa is on track for its opening...if you recall, it had been "mid year 2008" (which, if you do the math is next month, right?)--but it's now "late summer 2008"....perfect timing for a kids-just-back-to-school spa getaway, no?

Caudalie Spa is now open. From what I was told, the Plaza Hotel did open up earlier this year, around June, but I had been waiting for Caudalie. The spa is absolutely beautiful. They have wine barrel baths there, but I didn't get to do that. I had a treatment called the winemaker. Very interesting to say the least. They use a 'vine stalk' for this treatment (there's another with real grapes). My therapist was Bettina. She was friendly and very attentive and had an exceptional touch. I would definitely recommend stopping by and trying out an hour (it's actually 50 mins). awesome!
