Real Simple is my kind of magazine. The layout is easy to read, the information is precise, and I always feel like I've had a light bulb moment ot two after finishing an article.

When I read 10 Medical Tests Every Woman Should Have, I wanted to pass along the information to you, dear readers, because we can buff and primp and shine and pluck all we want, but underneath it all, our health is the most vital component of the anti-aging journey.

This informative piece is worth reading in its entirety, and it is easily digestible in a format that includes, "Why you Need it," "When and How Often," "What to Expect," and "What the results Mean." In this day and age, there is a world of information available to each of us, and the more knowledge we have before entering the doctor's office, the more equipped we'll be to get the care we need, tailored to our specific health goals.

Here are the 10 tests the article suggests:

1) Audiogram

2) Bone-Mineral Density Test

3) Clinical Breast Exam and Mammogram

 4) Colonoscopy

5) Comprehensive Eye Exam

6) Dental Screening

7) Heart Health Test

8) Lipid Profile

9) Mole Screening

10) Pap Smear
