Will my nose look like Michael Jackson's?
I tell patients, "Absolutely not"
The common concern that I hear from patients is that they have seen Michael Jackson's multiple rhinoplasties and made very explicit comments that they do not want a nose like that nose.
Today's rhinoplasty is done in such fashion that all the insertions are placed on the inside of the nose, and we still leave a pretty strong nasal profile. We like there to be a little differentiation between the tip and the bridge, but we like a strong profile, especially in a man versus a woman. But we don't want to dish out or ski slope the nose.
