I'm lucky that my career picked me. I grew up in Pittsburgh and my first exposure to beauty and glamour was the little Avon catalogs my mother would order from. A new one would be read cover to cover before my Mother would even know it was dropped off. I loved the names of all the colors and would take note of the subtle differences between Coral Snow and Peach Party (Coral Snow was shimmery!) and obsess about what models wore in each photo.
